There are lots of people who are suffering from cancer worldwide and many good people are raising funds for a cure to it. At Vail, you’ll experience the love and support of each other because they use the ski day as an opportunity to fundraise for the local Shaw Cancer Center. Whether you believe it or not, Pink Vail is a fundraiser event that can attract more or less 3,000 people who come in their pink dresses on the Vail Mountain, hence the name which lasts for the whole day.
All the proceeds from the Pink Vail event benefits patients at the Shaw Regional Cancer Center via patient care improvement and also, funding Spirit of Survival program. This is providing patients the opportunity to get emotional support, exercise training, nutrition coaching, outdoor adventures, massage, acupuncture and many more, for free! With these unique services, it can create a massive impact on the patient’s quality of life.
